On November 10, 2010, hundreds of CAPP’s friends and supporters gathered at Bridgewaters in the South Street Seaport for the 24th Annual Salute to Children to support every child’s right to be safe from abuse. Hosted by NBC New York’s Lynda Baquero & Telemundo 47’s Jorge Ramos, the evening honored Anna C. Carbonell, Former Vice President of Press & Public Affairs, NBC New York & Telemundo 47 with the 2010 CAPP Founders’ Award and awarded a special edition Children’s Champion award to our friends at Time Warner Cable. See what guests had to say about protecting New York City children from abuse in this special video, put together by our friends at HBO.

Every child has the right to be safe from abuse. Join CAPP and Sandra Lee, Food Network Star & Editor-in-Chief,
Semi-Homemade, actress Margaret Colin of
Gossip Girl, and actor and author Steve Schirripa in the fight to give every NYC school child the tools to recognize, resist and report abuse.
Just $20 can educate a child on abuse prevention.
